That was a pretty good show, if I do say so myself. Spectacular even! It makes me want to cast more amazing things like that, and maybe cause some mischief along the way. Just a little, really. Really.

Though, that will have to wait just a bit. I've got some Christmas presents to finish reading, after all. It's killing me though, really. Absolutely slaughtering me whole, to not be pranking everything in sight right about now. Cabin fever, maybe? I'm on the second one now, and I have to say I'm sort of jealous, Harry. We always had to make school life interesting, but it looks like all kinds of excitement just fell into your lap constantly!

Hm...I should probably make some resolutions, shouldn't I? Eventually. I know what I want to do, so I don't really need to put it on paper, do I?

...That's a excellent idea. Absolutely. Something like that would be really useful here. It would give us a great excuse to explore too...not that we need one.

I think we could! I don't know much about how the network works, but there has to be a place in it with a record of who's here, who leaves, and who arrives. Right? Or at least a way to find out that information.

The magic will be trickier than usual, I think, with the kind of power this place has. Not that something like that would ever stop us. If we managed Hogwarts, we can map out a silly little mansion.

I'd choose less excitement if I could, I think. Nearly dying every year may seem dashing, but it gets tiring after a while. Like I was telling Sirius, with Hermione and Ron it's a lot like being a part of the Scooby Doo gang.

Not sure who the Scooby Doo gang are, but it really does seem rather dashing. I'm sure it might get tiring for you, but I wouldn't mind trading places for some of these things! Ah, but that's how it goes, isn't it? People who get a lot of excitement which they had less and people who don't get enough wish they had more. It's a good thing we always knew how to make our own excitement.

I mean... I count my blessings. It's better than doing nothing at all, I guess. And at least I'm alive.
