SIRIUS BLACK.
sniffsbutt / ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ / [Sent Home]

James' best friend in any and all possible worlds. They're like brothers, and for a while he was also in Wonderland. James told Sirius about the Harry Potter series and he took it as a challenge that they would overcome together - if they read all of the books, they might be able to change things for the better. James and Lily might not die, Sirius might not go to prison, Remus might not wind up alone, and Harry might not be orphaned and forced to live with people who don't love him. Events tried their hardest to tear them apart - including one that made Sirius murder James himself. But they overcame those struggles and stayed strong...until Sirius was sent home. James has hopes that Sirius might have remembered, and might be changing things, but knows that it's not likely. But if he ever returns to Wonderland, he'll tell Sirius all over again. They have to keep trying.
HARRY POTTER.
savespeople / ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

James' future son. James has heard a lot about him from the books Coach Beiste gave him, and he's come to care a lot about him through reading them. He didn't have to meet the kid to know he would love him unconditionally - being a father has always been in James' plans, after all. But reading about his adventures and seeing what it might have been like makes him feel close to Harry, in a way that he supposedly never will be. Now that Harry is in the mansion, he wants to use this time to get to know him more personally, and has been happy to answer all of Harry's questions about himself and his life. He's undecided about whether he wants to tell Harry about his plans to try and remember his stay in Wonderland and change things when he goes home. Harry has enough to worry about already, doesn't he?

Friends.
COACH SHANNON BEISTE.
usskickass / ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

One of James' oldest friends in the mansion. She bought his friendship in a Homestuck event where everyone was trying to fill their quadrants, but they've remained good friends since then. She (very, very reluctantly) has also informed him of the Harry Potter series and gradually supplied him with all of the books. James thinks very highly of her and considers her a mentor (perhaps even a substitute Professor McGonnagal). If he's feeling down or discouraged, he's likely to go to her for advice. He doesn't quite understand that the book is supposed to be fiction in her world, so he still thinks it's a damn shame she isn't a witch. She'd make an excellent Qudditch referee.
SOUJI SETA.
eatsyourscience / ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Another friend from Wonderland. They got off to a bit of a rough start, as Quidditch Rivals during the Hogwarts event. Souji cast an unforgivable curse at someone, words were said, and James was sure he was a good-for-nothing Slytherin. After the event though, Souji was a much better person than that, and James relented, despite his black and white views on good versus evil. He's sort of come to the conclusion that it must have been the event that made him that way - because he's ultimately good and good people don't use unforgivable curses when events aren't messing with their brains. Since then, they've become closer. Souji has seen James at some of his lowest points in Wonderland, and knows that James is scared of dying. During the Christmas event, he learned why that fear is so strong. James told him that he wants to try and remember Wonderland, and much to his surprise, Souji made a similar promise to someone. He feels like Souji understands him in a way some other people don't, but he'd still like to get to know Souji better. Like what's all this business about him having magic and not being a wizard...?
NAOTO SHIROGANE.
tenoritantei / ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Terrorized her on her first day (by accident - he didn't know she was new! Or that she was a muggle). He saw her walking around in the snow and dive-bombed her on his broom and laughed like an arsehole when she fell in the snow. But when he tried to apologize after, she was having none of it. He eventually convinced her to let him dry her coat (after some stalking). He thinks she's interesting because his charms have no effect on her, and that they would probably make good friends if she stopped assuming he was secretly a murderer.
ALAN PROBE.
surgicalprodigy / ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

He seems nice enough! James got to know him when he first showed up in Wonderland, and he's got a good sense of humor! He's also got a good sense of adventure, since he came along on the Egypt expedition. He'd like to get to know him better (though he'll probably regret that once he discovers Alan's line of work).
