Right, so who needed help getting things down from chandeliers? I heard my name volunteered a couple of times, so I might as well make my services available. Let me know where your things are and I can get them down.

And what's this about vampires? I've never actually met one before, but I know about them. They sound pretty rotten though, if they're preying like that. There are other things they can do! Like blood pops and...well, some other things I don't quite remember from class.

[Private (Hackable to Moony and Padfoot only)]
So. That's what happens.

...I can't say I ever imagined it like that. At all. And Snape...what was with that chapter? Did he really? Does he really...love her? It was a lot more than I expected...

But, we know now! And that's good! Really.

...It's just so much to take in, all at once.

[ooc: He's done with the books! Strikes are totally gone. He's passed on all of the books to Remus and Sirius. |3]

Sometimes it's good to pay attention, you know.

[Filtered to James]
...It's a lot to think about, isn't it?

[identity profile] pottershotter.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I never thought I would be in a situation where I would actually encounter a vampire. They're mostly in Transylvania, aren't they? Never thought it would apply to me, and thus I didn't pay attention. Shame on me.

[Filtered to Remus]
It...really is, a lot to think about. I feel a little silly for ever thinking it might have been easier than it turned out to be, you know? So much is supposed to happen. There were things I never even saw coming.

[identity profile] oncein-bluemoon.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
They do test on these kinds of things, you know.

[Filtered to James]

...Me too.

[identity profile] pottershotter.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
Yes Professor, but there's a difference between knowing things for tests and remembering it for daily life. Vampires don't usually fall in the second category for most people.

[Filtered to Remus]
That's right, you had some pretty big surprises too, all throughout those books. ...It's kind of overwhelming though, just a bit.

[identity profile] oncein-bluemoon.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 03:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Neither do werewolves.

...And stop calling me that. I'm not your Professor. I'd fail you.

[Filtered to James]

Yeah.

[identity profile] pottershotter.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 03:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose you have a point. Though unfortunately my mass of knowledge on werewolves is going to do absolutely nothing for me in the event of a vampire attack.

Sorry, Professor. You would be a hell of a lot more interesting than some other professors we've had though.

[identity profile] oncein-bluemoon.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
No, that's true.

asjfkjsd James. Really.

[identity profile] pottershotter.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, it's true! Surely you could even make History of Magic interesting, and we all know how impossible that feat is.

[identity profile] oncein-bluemoon.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I think that would be impossible.

[identity profile] cockofthewok.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
Who says? I haven't been paying attention to anything for weeks now.

[Filtered to James]
Just give yourself some time to digest it mate.

[identity profile] oncein-bluemoon.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
I've noticed, since I'm always lending my notes for copying. Do you read them, at least, or do you just copy without thinking?

[identity profile] cockofthewok.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 05:51 am (UTC)(link)
Of course I read them. I moon over them Moony.

[identity profile] cockofthewok.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Oi! You alright Moony? It wasn't that bad of a joke.

[identity profile] oncein-bluemoon.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Most of your jokes are pretty bad, if we're keeping track.

But that's not a bad thing. Someone has to tell bad jokes.

[identity profile] cockofthewok.livejournal.com 2009-02-01 06:02 am (UTC)(link)
And someone has to be the voice of reason. Even if we always ignore that and drag you along anyway.

[identity profile] pottershotter.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
You know, you should probably get on that, what with vampires running around sucking the life out of people and all.

[Filtered to Sirius]
Mm. I will. It's a big shock, after all. I'll be all right though, once it settles in.

[identity profile] cockofthewok.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, vampires are hot. Or at least that's what BB's post made you to believe. I wouldn't have minded being bitten by the girl in that last picture.

[Private to James]
I'll tell you something pretty pathetic. I wasn't surprised by what happened to me.

If anyone would do anything to you .... I'd kill them on the spot.

[identity profile] pottershotter.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 03:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd like to keep all of my blood inside my body where it belongs, thanks. No matter how attractive the vampire might be.

[Private to Sirius]
That's not pathetic. It just makes you a better guesser than the rest of us, I suppose.

I would too, if anyone tried anything on you. ...I don't think I've ever wanted to hurt your cousin more in my entire life than I did after reading that.

[identity profile] cockofthewok.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
What if the vampire is Evans?

[Private to James]
Probably not actually. I just always figured my family would be the death of me. When Snape said you died, I knew I had to have snapped. Then being told I was in Azkaban just confirmed it.

[identity profile] pottershotter.livejournal.com 2009-01-31 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, er, that is an entirely different story. Not sure I'd let her kill me, but there wouldn't be any of this "vampire-hunting" going on if it was her.

[Private to Sirius]
I never thought that would be so...literal, though. But I don't put it past you. I mean...I still can't imagine what I would do if it had been the other way around. I probably would have wound up in Azkaban myself.

[identity profile] cockofthewok.livejournal.com 2009-02-01 06:06 am (UTC)(link)
See there. Everyone's got someone that wants 'um alive. You gotta think about that too. And even a vamp's gotta eat.

[Private to James]
Neither did I really, but I can't say it's surprising that it was. Besides, I'm sure the place was good for a few laughs. I'm pretty proud of how I handled it.
