Ah~ Sweet freedom. Sweet food that isn't sandwiches. (Not that I'm not grateful - thank you for that, by the way. I'm sure we would have starved in that library otherwise.) It's good to be able to walk around without falling through holes too, though they were kind of fun to navigate. Just when I'd gotten the hang of them all I was suddenly locked in the library!

Ah, well. It's better this way anyway. You can't really get anything done when you're stuck in one room!

I think you're wrong. There's nothing we don't need to know, regarding this. We need to know all of it, or else we won't stand a chance at changing anything.

That's hardly wise, killing our only informant. Besides, I wanted to know. I didn't even have to ask him though. Ridiculously enough, he seemed to be under the impression that you would have told me, or something silly like that, being my best friend and all.

If you found out something like that about me would you have told me?

I would have. It's hard, I know. It's really hard. But...we'd already suspected that something terrible happened. If we don't know what it is, then there's no hope of changing it at all.

So really, not saying anything doesn't keep anyone safe at all. It lowers our odds of surviving. Our odds of preventing Remus from being alone in the end, of growing old together.

Would that be better? To be ignorant of our futures and let him suffer? To just, let it all happen without doing a thing? Everything is important. No matter what it is.

And what if we can't fix things Potter? What if we all die anyway? What happens to all this nobility crap?

I'd rather you be able to life your life and try figuring this out myself then finding out that there's nothing we can do and being the reason you have a shit life.

Well, at least will have given it our best. I'm not going to be giving up. Not a chance.

Then I guess you'll be disappointed, because I plan to continue. I want to know everything I can about our future. The more we know, the more we can change. If there's something I can do, then damn it I'm going to do it. My life won't be shit for it, even if I fail, because I'll know I did everything I fucking could. In any case, you wouldn't be the reason for it.

I think I liked the holes better than being trapped in the library, but at least it was an excuse to show off my drills!

Your drills were bloody amazing. I've never seen anything like them before! But the holes were better than being locked away in the library.

And I didn't even use the big ones! At least getting around gaping holes was more interesting than reading books all day. It reminds me too much of school, and they didn't even have that many books on alchemy!

You've got bigger drills than that? That's incredible!

It's like being stuck in a class I forgot to skip... blech. Of course I do, I've been at AL-Revis Academy for five years up until now--it's a huge school for teaching people alchemy! The work is boring, but there are plenty of interesting people there.

I'd love that, actually. I wonder if I could manage it figure out how to do it myself...

Really? That's incredible. You don't hear too much about alchemy in my parts. Too bad the work is boring, but interesting people should make up for it!
