[ATTENTION, CITIZENS OF WONDERLAND:

Having noticed that things have been far too serious in the mansion lately (what with talk of Mirror Revolutions and all) as well as a penchant for procrastinating on things they should probably be actually working on (like getting home, and finding out more about their futures), Messrs Prongs and Padfoot have taken it upon themselves to lighten the mood themselves.

How? Well, with some delicious pumpkin juice, of course.

Select doors all over the mansion have been rigged with buckets of pumpkin juice, so that if or when someone pushes the door open, the bucket will fall and they will be drenched in the stuff. Any doors are fair game - open bedroom doors, doors to various tea rooms, etc etc - but they won't rig every door. That's just cruel.

There won't be any immediate sign of the culprits aside from James and Sirius being from a world where people actually drink pumpkin juice, but there might be a couple of British teenage boys lurking around (or perhaps watching on the network) and getting a good laugh over your pumpkin-y misery. You might want to ask them about it.

[Now that he's not up hovering in the air, James has found himself a room that he's fashioned to look like his dormitory in Gryffindor Tower, even though school isn't for another month at least. ...If not longer. He's not really sure anymore. Anyway, he's gotten the hang of the journals, it seems. He's also gotten some pumpkin pasties from the kitchen, and he's sitting on his bed eating one as he sends this message across the network.]

Hullo! [He waves with his free hand!] I'm James Potter, and I'm new here, sort of. I just wanted to make sure I've got all my facts straight.

Right, so - [He counts each point of on the fingers of his free hand.] - one, this is Wonderland. Two, you can't leave yourself and if you leave and come back you forget everything like I apparently did. Three, bizarre things like that...collar thing happen every so often. Four, you supposedly need a license to fly...[He grins at that one.] ...and five, you can get some pretty excellent food from the kitchens, ad the closets are good at what they do too.

Have I got everything? I figure I should learn it all now while I'm new so I'm not caught off-guard later on. Besides, it'll probably improve my chances of getting home sooner. Unless they release us for good behavior. I'm not sure I can manage that.

Oh, and if anyone sees a fellow named Sirius Black, let me know? I misplaced him when I was dragged from home to here, and I'm sure if he's still stuck in my world that my mother will be terribly upset if he has to tell her he lost me. Thank you in advance!

[He gives another wave, and then the screen cuts off on its own.]

I'm going to go get Remus.

Sirius, Lily, Peter. Stay here with Harry. I won't be gone long and the people here need as many people from our world to help them as they can. I'll be back soon with Remus in tow. We can't just leave him out there.

As for everyone else - try to stick together and think happy thoughts and eat chocolate. Really. It'll help a bit, I promise.

Right, so. We're figuring a way to go over to the mirror world to get that Saix guy back.

Remus? Sirius? Give my mirror hell, would you? He'll come over when I go over there. I imagine he's probably not very clever, so you shouldn't have much trouble. Just capture him, okay? So you can get me back when this is all done.

And to everyone else, don't start worrying or anything like that. I can handle myself, and your other selves just fine, so stop that worrying right now.

And with any luck, we'll be back pretty soon anyway.

Ah~ Sweet freedom. Sweet food that isn't sandwiches. (Not that I'm not grateful - thank you for that, by the way. I'm sure we would have starved in that library otherwise.) It's good to be able to walk around without falling through holes too, though they were kind of fun to navigate. Just when I'd gotten the hang of them all I was suddenly locked in the library!

Ah, well. It's better this way anyway. You can't really get anything done when you're stuck in one room!

[Filtered to Sirius]
So. ...Have you had any luck finding anything new?

Manhunt? Sounds brilliant! I'm in. Sirius, Remus, you're in too. Get your arses downstairs and outside so we can play! I'll meet you two there. We'll be an unstoppable force, as always.

Evans, you should come watch and see how it's done, unless you think you can actually take us.

It can't be that much different as a muggle game, right? ...Oh well. As long as no one minds a little creative magical manipulation of the rules.

Those explosions were excellent! Though I think you could've shaken us up a bit more - why only one side? Two or three or four would have been spectacular!

So, it's been about a week for me here and aside from getting told off by the girl of my dreams, it's been fairly awesome. This place is incredible. Never seen anything like it! If I were a worse man, I'd be jealous that so many people I know made it here before I could. In some ways though, I think Hogwarts might be more amazing. But it's close. I promise! Besides, I'm biased. School pride and whatnot.

Those closets are pretty useful, and so's the kitchen, and I'm starting to poke around that HUGE library. Damn, this place is huge.

Nothing's "happened" yet though - those events people keep talking about, I mean. I want something to though. I want to see first-hand what this place can do. I kind of get the feeling everything I've seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak.

Eh? What’s this thing? Some kind of magic device? A typewriter with a screen? I wonder how it works...

If anyone can see this...hello there! Nice to meet you! Charmed, I’m sure, but I’m looking for a bloke named Sirius Black at the moment. I seem to have misplaced him somewhere. You’ll know him if you see him, as I assume he’s probably all pruny from hogging the shower at my house for so long.

Oh and me? I’m James Potter. Pleasure to make your acquaintance, now, err...

...Where am I, exactly? What is this place?
