I'm going to go get Remus.

Sirius, Lily, Peter. Stay here with Harry. I won't be gone long and the people here need as many people from our world to help them as they can. I'll be back soon with Remus in tow. We can't just leave him out there.

As for everyone else - try to stick together and think happy thoughts and eat chocolate. Really. It'll help a bit, I promise.

[James is right beside him, similarly armed. He's looking fairly determined himself. He always is when it comes to matters like these. There's a twinge of pride, however, when he sees Harry looking similarly. He can almost see a bit of himself there.]

Right. Remus is waiting. [Then, only offering a general wave of goodbye to anyone else still in the kitchen, he leads the way to the front door.]

[Once they're out, Harry doesn't waste any time in mounting his broom, teetering a little at first from unfamiliarity but getting comfortable quickly.

The encroaching coldness and misery of the Dementors, already converging fast toward them, is easier to bear now that he's in the air. There's only good memories about flying, only the feeling of freedom and happiness, the knowledge that he's good at it and safe. It's an illusion, perhaps, but one that he holds onto as they set off. He grips his wand tightly in his right hand.

[James is quick to mount and follow him, taking to the broom as though it's an extra limb. He's always been talented at flying - not in the same ways as Harry, the natural seeker, but still worthy of praise himself.

It's almost a shame. If the circumstances weren't so dire, it would be an excellent bonding activity.

He has his wand ready, for when they'll inevitably have to face the creatures again. For the time being, they seem safe though, and the forest is creeping closer as the mansion moves further away.
